5 Aloe Vera Face Mask Recipes

Basic aloe vera mask
Benefit: apply aloe vera mask at least twice a week to refresh, hydrate, moisturize, soothe and heal your skin.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons Aloe Vera juice
1 tablespoons Aloe Vera gel
2 drops of 100% Lavender or Rose essential oil (or your favorite)
2 Cucumber slices
Method
Put all the ingredients, except the cucumber, in a bowl and blend them until you have a nice smooth substance
Spread this gently and equally with your fingertips or with a cotton ball on your clean face and neck: keep the eye area clear
Now lie down, relax and leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes
Then wash it off with a warm wet wash cloth and warm water, end with a splash of cold; pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Finally apply a moisturizer.
Aloe vera, yogurt
Benefit: apply for sensitive skin type. Aloe Vera is a skin soother and moisturizer, the cucumber and yogurt are both natural cleansers
Ingredients
2 tablespoons Aloe Vera gel
3 tablespoons fresh Cucumber juice
1 tablespoon Plain unflavored Yogurt
2 Cucumber slices
Method
Mix and mash all the ingredients, except for the cucumber slices, in a mixing bowl until you have a nice and smooth paste
Spread the paste gently and equally with your fingertips on your clean face and neck: keep the eye area clear
Now lie down, relax and leave the mask on for 15 minutes
Then rinse it off with alternately warm and cold water and end with a splash of cold; pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Finally apply a moisturizer.
Aloe vera, olive oil, shea butter, cucumber
Benefit: for dry and complex skin type.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Aloe Vera gel
1 tablespoon extra virgin Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Shea Butter
2 Cucumber slices
Method
Mix and mash all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, except for the cucumber slices, until you have a nice and smooth paste
Spread the paste gently and equally with a facial mask brush or spatula on your clean face and neck: keep the eye area clear
Now lie down, relax and leave the mask on for 15 minutes
Then rinse it off with alternately warm and cold water and end with a splash of cold; pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Finally apply a moisturizer.
Aloe vera, seaweed powder, honey
Benefit: help in soothing and cleaning acne ridden skin, It will leave your face feeling incredibly smooth, soft and looking absolutely radiant
Ingredients:
1/2 tablespoons Aloe Vera gel
1 tablespoon Kelp Powder – Seaweed
1/2 tablespoon Honey (preferably organic)
2 Cucumber slices
Method:
Warm up the honey until it becomes liquid by putting it in a small glass or metal bowl which is immersed in hot water. Mix the honey and the rest of the ingredients, except for the cucumber slices, in a mixing bowl until you have a nice and smooth paste. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes so the kelp powder can absorb the moisture
Spread the paste gently and equally with a facial mask brush or spatula on your clean face and neck: keep the eye area clear
Now lie down, relax and leave the mask on for 15 minutes
Rinse it off with lukewarm water; pat your skin dry with a clean towel
Aloe vera, green tea, avocado
Benefit: being a moisturizer for dry skin. Green tea is seen as an anti aging compound in beauty care.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon Aloe Vera gel
1/4 Avocado
1/4 Cucumber
1 teaspoon Green Tea powder
2 Cucumber slices
Method
Peel and cut the 1/4 cucumber into pieces, put it in a blender and puree it. Mash the 1/4 avocado and add the cucumber puree, the aloe vera and the green tea. Mix it until you have a nice and smooth paste
Spread the paste gently and equally with your fingertips on your clean face and neck: keep the eye area clear
Now lie down, relax and leave the mask on for 20 minutes
Then wash it off with alternately cold and warm water and end with a splash of cold; pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Finally apply a moisturizer
