4 Easy Effective Lemon Face Masks

1. Lemon, honey
Benefit: daily applying for a bright and naturally glowing skin.
How to make:
Mix lemon juice and honey to make a face mask. Apply the honey-lemon juice mix to your face and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Take it off with a damp towel and your face will look instantly brighter.
2. Lemon, yogurt, flour
Benefit: lemon acts as a natural cleanser that is especially beneficial for oily skin and skin that is prone to breaking out in pimples.
Ingredients:
1 tsp. lemon juice,
4 tbsp. flour,
4 tbsp. yogurt
Method
Mix all ingredients together to make a smooth paste, Apply the mask to your entire face, except for the eye area, with your fingertips. Leave it for about 15 – 20 minutes. Wash the paste off your face with warm water. Rinse your entire face with cold water and pat dry with a soft towel.
3. Lemon, blueberries
Benefit: the mask can be used for all skin types, featured with oily skin. Blueberries contains high anti-oxidants compound and contribute to a refreshing skin.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons fresh blueberries
3 teaspoons powdered oats
1 teaspoon finely ground almonds
2 teaspoons distilled water
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 drop lemon essential oil
Method:
Put all ingredients except the essential oil into a small food processor and process until combined evenly.
Transfer to a plastic container and add the essential oil. Stir to mix.
Apply to freshly cleaned skin using upward sweeping motions to spread an even paste over the skin. You can save some to treat yourself later in the week (keep refrigerator.)
4. Lemon, egg white
Benefit: Egg whites have been used in natural skin care and this mask will tighten and tone your skin. Egg whites are rich in protein, vitamins and minerals which nourish your skin. They are a very effective astringent and will tighten and firm your skin.
Ingredients:
1 half lemon
1 egg white
A few drops of honey (optional)
Method:
Extract juice from 1 half lemon. Whisk the egg white until frothy, then add the lemon juice. (honey if use))
Apply to your face, avoiding the eye area.
Leave on for 30 minutes.
Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.
